Another Emerald owner here. My first carbon fiber was a Rainsong shorty. At the time of the purchase it was a toss up between the Emerald x20 and the Shorty. I had no local access to either. Went with the Shorty after talking to MacNchol's who carried both at that time. I till have the shorty and I do like it. It is a loud and bright guitar. The Emerald x20 Woody followed a year later ,direct from Emerald. The passion you find for the x20 around here helped lead to the leap of faith. The Shorty is nice but I like Emerald x20 better. Then a week ago I got another coffee cup and a free guitar from Emerald. This time an Emerald x7. Others on this forum have done the same. The x7 is another great guitar. Way more guitar than I expected it to be and I like it a lot.

Default Pricing for emerald guitars

I have just finished a custom build at emerald. Kevin and Alistair were both so helpful. I needed a build that didnt exist in the real world and they made it come true. I found that they quoted me including and shipping or added value things up front. Here are a couple of pictures of the guitar

Congratulations on your new guitar. I tried to click on the links but was unable to access the photos. Perhaps they are not for public viewing (maybe only your Facebook friends can see them)?

I also have an X20 and an H-OM1000N2. My Rainsong is an excellent guitar but the X20 is my preferred CF by far.

My advice is that speaking to Emerald is where you will get your answers. The entire population of AGF can give their opinion but that amounts to naught.

12String;

Got the pictures and video--both are very nice. Thank you for taking the time to bring these to the forum.

WindChaser;

The notion of price negotiation with Emerald has never occurred to me. I think the prices are pretty set and the only question is what you want in the way of features. As Fazool notes, Emerald is the only source of information regarding what a slot head might cost relative to pegs. It's a fun process and well worth the time.

Dear Lord, a 14-string 12-string...

Is the final Bass course tuned to A or B?
