Default CF spotted in the woods?

Is that an X20 behind Tony?

Looks like a strap laying over where the sound hole would be. Which kinda looks like the X20 sound hole. I don't think so.

Well you had me second guessing, but I think you are wrong John

Look at that headstock, the glossy fretboard.....that's an X20! In fact, I think the instrument hanging behind it is an Amicus. 12 tuning machines, very Emerald looking headstock, short scale.....hmmmm

I don’t think it’s an X20. From what I could tell, the top of the headstock sloped opposite to typical Emeralds.

Well I asked Tony directly. I'll report back if he responds. The more I look the more convinced I am- and if so....that's pretty cool. He has reviewed RainSong on The Acoustic Letter, it would be cool if he did Emerald too.

I have seen some guitar reviews from Tony on YouTube, but I wasn't aware of his weekly show - looks good! I'm looking forward to seeing the X20 and Amicus reviews. (That January Select Series X20 is a beauty!) The "teaser" about the Emerald on this video sounds as though Tony really liked it. Yeah, I get that.

Nice review! Who knew Tony has been following this forum? Seems that all the attributes of the X20 (comfort, sound, neck profile, unique soundhole projection, even the "rumble" against your chest/belly) have been discussed.

Yeah, the X20 really IS that good!

Good review, I wonder what he does with the guitars after he reviews them?
