Default Melodyne 4 Editor

I'd like to know if people on the AGF who use Melodyne on a mac had problems with the installation and if so what the problems and resolutions were/are?

I have a 2015 Macbook Pro (Retina, 15") running High Sierra. My DAW is Logic 10.4.

All and any input/advise is much appreciated.

Thanks!

Trevor

Hmmm. I'm surprised there are no mac guys who use Melodyne perusing the forum. Ok, c'est la vie!

I have the Studio 4 version on my mac but I can't be of much help. Mine installed without issue.

Hey, that's good to know. I'm curious. Did you have to do a bunch of copies, pastes and replaces?

I'm not sure what you mean.

This video shows what I mean better than I can explain it. It's not in English but if you watch the video you'll get the idea.

I'm not sure what's going on in that video but I don't remember doing anything like that for use with ProTools. The person speaking did mention Logic so perhaps this is something that is unique to installing it to work with Logic.

Melodyne has a pretty good support section with a ton of videos. You might find some answers there:
http://helpcenter.celemony.com/hc-2/...tudio/overview

This is the section for Logic:
http://helpcenter.celemony.com/hc2-c...daw_logic.html

I wish I could help more than that.

I'm on a Mac and had no problems. The folks at Celemony are very helpful. Go to the celemony website and click on "contact" at the bottom of the page. They've always written me back. Good luck.
