Default Martin 12 fret sloped shouldered long scale

Hey all,
Does any one know of any new Martins available that are 25.4 scale sloped shoulder and 12 fret? Would prefer 1 11/16 nut width.

Thanks,
Dan

Don't think Martin has introduced any new 12 fret dreads but there are custom shop 12 fret dreads available from different dealers. Gruhn usually has several Adirondack over either Madagascar/Honduran/Guatemalan rosewood available. He tends to spec them out with all the right stuff. Best of luck!

The only 12 fret Dreadnaught (Standard Series and up) in current production is the D-1 Authentic, but there are many used models from the last 20-30 years available, and there are quite a few dealers with Custom Shop 12 fret D's.

ALL 6 string Martin 12 fret D's are long scale, 25.4".

I've seen very few that had 1 11/16" necks. In fact there are no production models with narrow necks, but I have seen a handful of Custom Shop guitars ordered with 1 11/16" necks.

Thanks all. I will keep a lookout and see what I can find. Still waiting for my custom D41 to arrive. Order went in beginning of January.

The main point of the original dread was that it didn't have the later skinny rhythm neck.

They were designed like the 12 fret 000 for more intricate fretting work, and so had a 1 &7/8" but width.
The later 14 fret rhythm guitar design comes with a skinny neck.

The one I posted is pretty dreamy combo of woods, the burst is lovely, too. Custom shop at its finest.

I picked this one up here about a week ago. It was built in 2016 for the 100 year anniversary of the dreadnought.

Super B23, that's a beauty. I saw that on you tube already. I hope it brings you a lot of joy.
Since the Martin I have on order is a Madagascar, I was thinking of going all Mahogany front and back but with 45 style appointments. Definitely going to have to go custom.
Thanks,
Dan

Hey Dan...I have one of a special run Ted @ LAGS did a while back in all mahogany. Martin !2 fret dread with slotted headstock. No fancy appointments. Quite plain actually but a great guitar none-the-less. Occasionally one will come up for sale. Might be a viable option if you can find one and don't mind a more "stark" appearance. Just a thought? Best of luck regardless!
