IMG_1472.jpg http://shop.midwoodguitarstudio.com/...-x33867659.htm This one is extremely loud, focused and lush. It’s a cannon full of flowers. The Adirondack is pale and powerful and the Bubinga back and sides sprout overtones in the upper register that will make you think someone’s singing harmony. The bass is big and wide, too, providing a nice, cozy scoop. The feel is smooth, secure, and responsive. The neck rests comfortably in your palm and the fretboard feels steady on your fingertips (a slightly flatter radius). It likes flat-picks and fingers equally, but you have to dig in to get the most out of the Adirondack. That’s part of the fun. It’s a clear, clean, surprising sound like sunlight pouring through stained glass. Bubinga is as fun to play as it is to say. It’s quite easy on the eyes, too, sporting a grain structure that gives “true rosewoods” a run for their money.
