Yes, it is, and when I use zoom on my W10 laptop through "edge" I find the original sound on/off facility in the top left hand side of the screen but some of my clients don't see it there, and some can't find it at all, and I don't know why. any idea where esle it might be found?

You have to enable Original Sound in audio settings. That will allow it to appear on the upper left corner of the screen.

I'm not sure if I should even ask this, as you've said you have all the settings correct, but I'll ask anyway: In Zoom, under the Audio Advanced tab, do you have "Signal processing by Windows audio device drivers" set to Off?

Yes, set to Off.
