Default Experimenting with Aspect Ratio

Hi,

This is just a short recording using a Sigma fp camera. I am experimenting with aspect ratio, in this case 21:9 to see the results on YouTube. I used Davinci Resolve for editing. I wasn't focused on the sound this time, just the video stuff. I am enjoying experimenting on a rainy day!

I like that ratio and I like that you're a bit off to the side in the shot. I think it lends itself well to a seated guitar player. I'd do something about the computer monitor and maybe try to get some soft diffused light coming in from your left side.

Hi Rick. Maybe turn the operation around? I don't know if this link will work, but when I make Reels on Instagram I just face my computer and the screen becomes the key light, and then I have a window on one side, with an accent light in the back.

Good suggestions! Also, 18:9, or 2:1 is a nice one too!

Ya, distractions like the computer aren't a good thing.
