I have owned my Guild GF-60 since I bought it new in the spring of 1988. So...32 years.
The D-28 and 0018V I have owned them for 16 years. When I find a guitar that I like, I tend to keep them.

Takamine G330 dread, bought new in ‘95 from Moe’s Music in Virginia Beach.
First “decent” guitar I owned, and it somehow made it through the marriage, kids, family years and it is the guitar that was waiting for me when I came back around to playing. Pretty sure I’ll hang on to it. ~ Paul

My father bought me my Epiphone El Dorado in 1969 at a small shop in Chicago. I guess it is no longer technically mine since I gave it it my daughter a few years ago. I did play it this month when we finally were able to travel enough to visit.

My first guitar was a classical which I still have. Bought new in 1971.
I still have a Dan Armstrong London mahogany electric, bought second hand in 1975. I still have an American Standard Stratocaster bought new in 1979. I've had my Ovation acoustic since 1999. |
