The vocal sounds intense and sincere. I agree with noledog that the guitar would support it better with a thicker sound.

Eh, the guitar sounds fine. Big vocal!! One of the best I've heard from you. Singers rule!

I kind of disagree on the "thickness" of the guitar tone. I think it's fine.
It seems just slightly out of balance with the powerful vocal track.
I would probably tame that vocal track back to about 90% or a little more and I'll bet that will work.
Also, having listened to the original, the acoustic guitar is very subtle in the beginning and throughout the song. I took a crack at the strumming using my thumb instead of a pick and was able to re-create it more or less.
Anyway man, good job and I certainly enjoy you voice.
Did you ever perform Cohen's "Alleluia?" You would kill that song.

Wonderful, the song really suits your voice. Must confess I do not know the original, but I certainly like your version.

Rok, Thanks for the constructive input on this track. I was thinking of doing a Cohen in song in memory of him so I might give that one a go. Bud

Well done, Bud. Very powerful and dramatic performance. I enjoyed the guitar solo as well.

Yes, I agree with the others, you have a fine voice and project emotion nicely. I thought the guitar comp was choppy at the beginning, following the pauses in vocal lines rather than filling in the pauses. A little of this is ok, but I was waiting for the song to get going.

As far as Cohen, Hallelujah has been preformed zillions of times. Not that that's bad, I play it myself. But for something different, how about Famous Blue Raincoat? I'd like to hear your version.

Thanks for sharing.
