Default 2002 LeVoi Gypsy Guitar

John LeVoi Selmer-Maccafarri guitar. 2002
. Excellent condition. 1 3/4" width neck. 14 fret to body - 670mm scale length model. This is the guitar Django Reinhardt preferred after its introduction in 1936. Rosewood back and sides. Sounds as it should...well balanced, punchy and cuts right through the mix. Hand made in England by the luthier John LeVoi who has been crafting these guitars since their resurgence in interest in the 1970's. BigTone bridge pickup. Hiscox case. $1,500

Two small top patches from were I had some wood filler removed (see pictures), presumably done during the refin. Correctly sized replacement bridge plate and bridge. K&K Pure mini with vintage jack. Great guitar to take out to a gig or jam and not worry about too much. Comes with Martin plush case. $5,000.

Everything I don't like in a guitar....non-scalloped braces, 1 11/16" width nut. Yet, that Brazilian is sooooo gorgeous, it makes my knees weak.

How's the neck feel?

Full feeling neck, definitely not skinny or slim.

Best,
Anthony
