Thanks. The Cocobolo-cedar Terz guitar is my own design and build, and matches the colorscape nicely

I'd say it turned out nice, and makes the cabinet a living room worthy piece of gear in my wife's eyes too.

That is beautiful! I am also a woodworker and I think I will take on this project with an older acoustic amp I have. Great job.

On another question, I saw from one of the pics on your site that you use a tone dexter together with a Play Acoustic. How is this set up... if you don’t mind sharing?

ToneDexter contains wave maps to each of my guitars, and I run them into VLPA or VL3X with their guitar settings flat (usually no BodyRez) for acoustic tones.

Depending on the usage, I might go with just the TD or just VLPA or plug straight into LoudBox.

What’s not so immediately apparent, is that amplifier sounds better with the good looking wood treatment. Not because of the wood per se, but simply because it looks like it should be producing a premium sound. And the listener expects to hear a better sound from that amp, than from my otherwise identical dog-chewed version. And that’s what they hear.

That's absolutely beautiful. My loudbox mini is pretty well beat up. Maybe I'll try something like that.

Yeah, psychoacoustics is a real factor in life.
