Default It's been 2months - all is well with new Gibson and Martin

I have not had to start a thread in over 2 months.

The guitars are safely in their cases at a consistent 45%-55% humidity with humidipacks, house is still at under 35% humidity even with a whole house humidifier, usually right around 30-31%.

My 1st purchase, a Martin GPCRSGT plays and sounds as great as when I bought it.
My Gibson J45 with cutaway took some time to acclimate, but now it is amazing.

With my acoustic situation resolved I went back to my 1st love and bought two brand new 2016 Gibson Les Paul Traditionals, they are still in their cases until the humidity stabilizes at over 35-40%.

Here is the stable

Actually no you aren't done. I don't see a Taylor or Guild in your signature

Seriously, I never thought I would even own one real acoustic, 2 nice ones is probably going to hold me for a while.

Now another Les Paul I could see.

No lottery.
I sold my other guitars and had a lot of Amazon rewards points

In addition to your gibsons. How about getting an original 60's Gibson SG junior. For they are truly wonderful guitars.

You obviously have a thing for cutaways.

For over 50 years I lived on a steady diet of old Gibson acoustics and Fender Electrics although for a short while I owned a 1965 Reverse Bird.

Not a fan of single coils

My next Les Paul is going to be the ES version,
There is nothing that I don’t like about that guitar.

One is Lightburst with a cherry back and one is Honeyburst with a light brown back.
The Honeyburst I got 2nd and it is the better guitar by a little bit.

I got them for a steal, brand new one was $1500 and one was $1600 before my rewards points.
