I'm watching it but I really expected it to be better than it is. I was really looking forward to this show. It had so much potential and I feel they missed the mark on the story line and acting. Mike

I watched the whole first season. I thought the special effects were outstanding and the robot was really well done, but it seemed to drag to me, like they tried to cram three hours worth of script into six hours of show. That being said I will, most likely, watch the next season when it comes out.

I also had a bit of a problem with Parker Posey as Dr. Smith, I usually like Posey as an actress so I'm not sure if it was her, or the way the character was written, just can't quite put my finger on it.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned who appears in it from the original series.

Me, too. I decided to continue watching it and finished the season last night. Dr. Smith was a very annoying character, but overall I liked it and am looking forward to the next season.

And a great foil for Dr. Smith.

My wife and I think Dr. Smith is a great character because we hate her guts!

I've watched 4 or 5 episodes, usually just on the week-ends. I'll watch the entire season. I like the show but the past couple of episodes faded a little for me.

Watched episode 3 and I still struggled to keep up. Somewhere in between fuel-eating eels, and a villain with a backstory I truly don’t care for is making it even harder to watch the next episode. I mean, a villain who infiltrates the good guys and “struggles” in between her own self-serving interests and doing the right thing? Haven’t we seen this story before?

To me, this show is great for what it is , but it's a very specific niche. Truly family centered sci-fi. The plot revolves heavily around two teenagers and a young kid. They aren't add on elements really. If you watch with your family, it's much much better quality acting, characters etc. for these young actors than comparative demographic type shows. There aren't many "family" shows I can stomach for very long. This one's pretty good. But I wouldn't compare it to Star Trek or Firefly necessarily. I'd obviously be disappointed.

Different beast.

Interesting perspective, and good points.

Amazing show. Binge watched it. Absolutely brilliant.

The biggest and best part, a woman in her 40 s or 50s as the main hero.

How many shows or movies have you ever seen where a mature woman plays the hero roll? And well, a smart hero.

I have had enough of Nick Bolton types with rippling muscles fighting crime. I am quite ready for a smart woman beating everyone with her brains and determination. Get ready for the new world, bye bye, Mon Cowboy!
