Default Recommend Christmas guitar CD's

I'm wondering how many great guitar-Christmas albums are out there...

Now that we're in the season, what are your favorites?

In searching I just found "Doug Smith", very nice... (But trans-siberian with wailing lead guitars is fun also)

Here's my all-time favorite Chistmas guitar CD.

Christmas Guitars from 1993.

"A Guitar For Christmas" by Robin Bullock.

Comes with a tab book also if you want to learn the tunes, and there's a killer version of "Carol of the Bells" on it that's pretty easy to play - a real show stopper. http://www.dancingwolfrecords.com/

I have these two and they are great:

The John Fahey Christmas Album
Acoustic Christmas With Tom Hemby

I am hoping to add this one very soon – it is just being released:

Christmas Treasures: A McPherson Guitars Instrumental Collection

What he said> Great CD, 'Bells' is a great arrangement. In fact, I just finished 'dusting it off' for the coming holiday season myself.

I can also recommend 'Old World Christmas' by Steve Baughman.

I recommend the Sufjan Stevens Christmas collection for something that is very creative and different than ALL the rest of the Christmas stuff out there. For me it's either this collection or the classics from Nat King Cole and other classic Christmas recordings.

for the sufjan stuff, check it out here: http://www.asthmatickitty.com/suf_xmas/suf_xmas.php

I, too, thought of Laurence Juber's CD when I read your request for recommendations.

Red face Christmas Cd

I love Doug Smith's CD. Ed Gerhard has 2 out and they are both very good as well. Keaggy has 2 I think, but they are not just guitar. One was with an orcehstra I believe. The other was just him with other instrumentation.
