Default What kind of strings do you play on?

I prefer Daddario Chromes Flatwound strings with a plain 14 and an 18 for the E and B strings. What's your string preference?

I have 2 Triggs archtops, playing D’Addario Chromes on one and phos.bronze flat-tops on the other.

I had been playing D’Addarion half-rounds on both and really liked the tone but they tended to bite into the saddle making the guitars hard to tune.

I also use Chromes, but in the slightly lighter gauge (.013 E string) on my L50 and on my Yamaha flattop. I will be putting a set on my 000 as well.

Martin Retro Monel MM13 on the Godin 5th Avenue, D'Addario Half-Round 13's on the CW II, D'A Chromes (in varying gauges) on everything else...

I experiment between strings and guitars.
Generally
Arch tops are phosphor/bronze or nickel steel
Carbon fiber is silk and steel for now
Flat top has phosphor/bronze
Da uke gets nylons of course.

I try many different brands
I’ll buy in bulk (10+ sets etc) if I like a particular set/ brand to have extras around.

Do you use chromes for all your guitars? Even the flattops?
