This brings back memories - early '80's and I was as Ranger student in Phase II at Camp Darby in Dahlonega GA. Juice Newton's version of this song was on the playlist of whatever station was piped into the mess hall. I would spend many of those cold lonely early morning moments out on patrol trying to open a C-Rat with a P-38 as the sun rose slowly, praying that the big heat tab in the sky would defrost my fingers enough to get a few calories into my starving system, and all the time wishing that I had an "Angel of the Morning" by my side.

FYI for those that want to know - I did get tabbed the first time through.

Hey great job Love the retro mic also
I remember what stir of being to risqué that song made when it was released by Merrilee Rush, and finally became a big hit.

That was wonderful, beautifully played and sang. Thanks for posting, I haven’t heard that song in a long time.
