Default AMC’s “The Terror’

Since I’ve been playing “Lord Franklin” for years, I’ve been interested in his ill-advised expedition. It’s been intriguing to see both Erebus and Terror discovered over the past few years (exactly where the Inuits told folk they were).

I very much enjoyed the Sci-Fi/Horror retelling. It’s well crafted, well acted, and quite unsettling.

I was sorry to see it end. But I ain’t sure what happens in the final shot. Any one else?

Oh, don’t watch this with the kids.

Yeah I was puzzled by it too. I did watch all six episodes and enjoyed them, for the most part, aside from one side issue that I thought did not belong in it. Mr. Hickey's affair between another crew member, I thought that was strange and in poor taste, frankly.

I stuck with it as long as I could, but I lost interest about half way through the season. Felt like they were dragging it out.
After I fell asleep during 2 shows I threw in the towel.
I might revisit it at some point and see if I can finish out the season.

I’m just about to start the book. I look forward to watching the series after finishing it.
