2018 Martin Dreadnought Jr. 2 Sapele! (SOLD)
Ok...maybe not really "hot rodded" since Bryan Kimsey or any other famous luthier has never had his hands on it, but when I got it...before I played it (I'd had two of them prior), I decided to see how far I could go to improve the already great 3/4-size Martin and get it as good as it could be.
I had my local Martin-certified luthier/tech install the full Bob Colosi package...bone saddle, bridge pins & nut. He set the neck, and intonation is perfect. The action is set down low, but not to the buzzy state. Frets were dressed and polished, and the guitar now is almost as loud as a D-18 with close to the same projection. Playability is dramatically improved, and I believe the mods just made this guitar all Martin meant it to be. Really a wonderful guitar, and if you're wanting a great couch, traveling, songwriting guitar...I don't believe you'll find a better one, especially at this price. It's in mint condition, and only played a few times. Also comes with a genuine Martin hardshell case that I bought because the Martin gig-bag is wimpy at the very best. Selling for $600, including shipping in the CONUS only. ***I'm at work, but I'll post pics later this afternoon when I get home!

Ooops! Late on pics. Late night at work last night...
Hard to see adds by the pics since the Colosi bone saddle, pins & nut look like stock parts. But, I guarantee that the combo plus a pro setup and new strings brings out the best in this guitar. You won't be disappointed! I'll even lower the price...$550 shipped
