Geza Burghardt classical
SOLD
$6800 Geza Burghardt is one of the most highly regarded classical guitar builders in the world. This is his standard Torres concert model. If you search the internet for his guitars, you won't find one under $12,000. He is also retiring next year, so won't be building any more instruments. Scale length (mm): 650 - Nut width (mm): 52 - Top: European spruce - Back / Sides: Indian Rosewood - Fingerboard / bridge: ebony fingeboard, rosewood bridge - Sound: traditional, exceptional: extraordinary clarity, sweetness, volume, balance, sustain, overtones, warmth I simply don't play classical guitar enough to justify keeping this world-class instrument, and certainly not to the level it deserves. The only issue with the guitar is that the french polish has checked on the back and sides where it has reacted to sweat from playing in summer heat. The top has a few barely detectable marks. The french polish on this instrument is of the very highest quality: Geza is renowned for his french polishing as well as the perfection of his building.
