Man, the stars really aligned at Muscle Shoals. That was great. Loved the (Netflix?) documentary, too.

Yeah, that was really good.

I loved the part where they described how black artists were introduced to the Swampers, and would ask, “wheres the real band?” “No, really, the musicians?”

They were truly amazing! And so were Rick’s dreams and his determination

That was great. Not to sound ignorant but, I'm assuming they were all session players. Did they play as a group all the time?

This video is a must-see. As Steve Winwood says in the trailer, it’s an enigma.



Pretty much all session players. But the number of songs they performed on is absolutely staggering.
