2007 Martin Custom Shop 000-28 GE -SOLD
SOLD!!
Up for sale is this beautiful Martin 000-28. It was previously owned and commissioned by Spoon Phillips (onemanz.com), I am the 2nd owner. But I am buying too many classicals, and this one is not getting played, so it must go. Specs: * Premium Madagascar rosewood back and sides * Adirondack spruce top with 1/4” Golden Era style Adirondack spruce bracing * Ebony fretboard and bridge * Flamed European maple binding. * Fishman Gold Line Plus undersaddle pickup. * 24.9" scale, 1-3/4" nut, 2-5/16" saddle * modified V neck Spoon even made a video about it here: Here's his write up about it: http://onemanz.com/guitar/for-sale/guitars-sale/ It's in very good condition - it has a few swirls and nicks, more noticeable wear on the front of the sound board just below the strings (where Spoon rested his pinky). On the very last picture, the one showing "Spoon's" pinky wear, it also looks like there is a straight line lacquer on the lower bout of the guitar on the treble side...about the lower middle third on the right of the picture.
Is that in fact a lacquer check/crack, or something other? duff Be A Player...Not A Polisher |

I noticed the same thing when I posted the picture. It's a small finish check that's not noticeable unless the light hits it just right. I wasn't aware it was there.

I have actually played this guitar right after Spoon received it, and it was an amazing sounding guitar. It must be incredible now with the playing it has received over the years...Wish I had the funds available for this one, kind of a dream guitar for me. GLWYS!
