Default Fishman Loudbox Settings

I have a Martin M36 with K&K pickup. I've just purchased a Fishman Loudbox Mini Charge. I was hoping to see what others are running for their settings on the Fishman. I am a no frills guy, just guitar and microphone. I play solo gigs, James Taylor, Garth Brooks, Hal Ketchum, etc. Anyone have any settings that work particularly well for them?

Default Depends

Depends on the room, outdoors or in, your ear that day.

I start out flat 12 o'clock and go from there.

I use a clip on condenser on my archtop.

It really does depend on Room and environment. Weds I had 2 gigs right after each other. I went from playing outdoor Tiki Bar with Fishman Artist and it sounded great. Left all controls the same (except for Master Vol) and played indoor bar in a more closed area and it sounded completely different. And not as good to my ear. So I had to make adjustments.

I have a DI and putting my K&K guitar into the mic channel with the DI sounds best set flat. Plugging the K&K direct to the guitar channel sounds best with the bass cut back to 10 o'clock. It would be interesting to hear what works best for you.

For my K&K guitars, I usually run it through a preamp (K&K XLR) and adjust it through the preamp. But, generally speaking, I set everything at 12, then bring down the bass and mids to match my needs.
