They are all free. I downloaded the app and got all the pedals onto my iPod that I wanted. I'm debating ordering another pedal before they are all gone. Sweetwater does not have any left in stock and ZZ Sounds showed they only had 2.

I agree but kind of want to see what the new model will have? But for $40 I'm with ya.

I ordered a second one last night - I knew I'd kick myself if I waited and they were all gone.

They will give me a chance to play with effects types I've rarely, if ever, used - should be fun and instructive.

Hey don't be stupid like me, you need to grap the pedals area on your Ipad and pull up to reveal more pedals. Must be 50 you can download!

No - that's an Adrian Belew 'signature' sound, for $19.99, which I could never see myself using.

Me too! I just ordered a second. Now I'll have to explain it to the wife, but I'm worried about them selling out. I ordered one yesterday and am psyched. Downloaded all of the models. I do see myself ending up with a total of three or four of them. Could build a nice little "pedal board" w a distortion, compression, chorus and reverb option. I've got a zoom g3 that I like, but I am really leaning toward a simple setup. A nice little low watt, 15 or so, tube amp w a few pedals.

I just got 'the look' when I mentioned the second one

#1 just arrived a couple of hours ago. It came with a power supply, which I wasn't expecting, but it seems to run just fine off my 1Spot. It's dead easy to download new models to it, and to change the LED colour. I now know, first hand, for the first time ever, what P90s through a Fuzz Face clone into a tube amp sound like. It's a sound I've heard on records for years, but have never had under my fingers (don't mock - I don't get out much )

That was worth the price of admission to me. This is going to be fun.

I didn't ask-forgiveness vs permission theory. I actually ordered it on my phone during a meeting at work.

Excellent. $40 didn't get me into trouble - if I'd bought a second one at $150, forgiveness might have been a tad hard to come by.

You (and others who've sprung for these) might also be interested to know that you can get labels for all the effects from Digitech. It comes with a dozen in the box (some blank), but they are available here:

http://www.digitech.com/epedal_label...t?locale=en-US

I requested all of them at once; we'll see what shows up.

i ordered one then cancelled the order as i have enough pedals to keep me busy for a while. this includes the strymon timeline, mobius and big sky as well as a cry baby wah and a fulltone fd3. i'll wait until the next version which, i'll ASSUME, will have the capability of handling more than one effect at a time.
great technology, just too early for me to step in.

play music!

Thanks so much; just ordered a pair. Even if I use these to test effects and then buy a specific pedal, that makes it worthwhile. Yes, the next iteration may have some more capability, but these'll do me fine!

I think they marketed this wrong, selling the device and then having you pay for effects. Poeple don't like to be nickeled and dimed. I bet the new devise does more and is more complicated, maybe not the way to go. With these small ones i can load what I need and fit them in my gig bad. And all my songs are on the Ipad so the effects come with me anyway. Cool
