Default Presenting the Kevin Kopp Deco K-200!

(NEW) When Kevin Kopp calls you and says "There's a guitar I've wanted to make for a long time, with wood I've been saving for a long time... you guys into it?" what are you supposed to say? Heck yeah we're into it!

But when Kevin began to describe what he had in mind, we couldn't have pictured the incredible instrument that he produced. This one-of-a-kind K-200 is a showstopper in every way! It has huge maple jumbo tone, of course, but the appointments, from the custom maple/pearl/aluminum fingerboard inlays to the full-body "Midnight Moon" sunburst finish are just beyond impressive. This veteran builder has outdone himself.... again!

The K-200 is Kopp's super jumbo, with 17" lower bout and just under 4 1/2" body depth. It is a BIG guitar. It is NOT heavy for its size, though, and with its three-piece laminated maple and rosewood neck, feels perfectly balanced.

In the looks department, where do we begin? Custom sunburst over master-grade Italian spruce top (Kevin has been saving this top for 15 years) and tremendous figured maple. There are numerous Art Deco inspired touches, from the end graft to the heel cap, custom engraved tuner buttons, and of course the fingerboard and peghead overlay. It's a lovely presentation. The silvery burst is nicely contrasted by full-body and neck binding in ivoroid, and the sound hole is bound as well. 25 1/2" scale. The neck is a comfortable shallow C shape, with a 1 3/4" nut and 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle. The bone saddle is nice and tall, and the bridge is ebony with bone pins. Cutaway for access to the upper registers.

The tone is big, round and crisp... up there with the best jumbos we've had.

Includes original TKL hard case, but maybe you'd like to talk to us about a custom Calton for this beauty? Black with silver interior, perhaps? We can make it happen!

Surely, one of the most collectable instruments from one of the world's greatest guitar builders. We'll never see the likes of this guitar again, and we're honored to present it to you!
