1940's Kay Archtop
I believe this is a 40's era K-39 Archtop. It is all original including really nice Kluson tuners.
This vintage archtop is in great condition with playwear, minor scrathes and finish crazing typical of its age In addidion, I had a neck reset done on it, as well as steam straightening of the neck. This was done by Fran Ledoux of Bay Fretted instruments. Fran is a reknown luthier in Cape Cod Massachusetts. Receipt pictured. When I picked the guitar up from Fran he said, "If you like the dry woody tone, this thing has it in spades. I'm gonna miss it...." SOLD off site. Thread closed.
