One of the first that got me into Paul Simon, along with Duncan and 50 ways to leave your lover. Great job man!

Thank you Dustin!

How nice of you to comment! And I'm so pleased that you feel this came out okay!

Those three songs you listed are also my favorites. I'd like to do Lincoln Duncan but it's a little racy, I think, for the forum. But I play it fairly often at home -- my wife doesn't mind!

Thanks again for your thoughts Dustin! I hope things are going well for you!

Glenn...that was fantastic!

You passed the ‘daughter test’ with flying colors! She walked by as you video was playing and said ‘that guy is really good!’.

Thanks for a pleasant start to my Saturday morning.

Very well done, Glenn! And I love that tune your 35... sounds great! You just need me to add that booming, echoing snare drum and you'd have the whole song. Lol...

Like Dustin, I remember being fascinated by the fingerstyle parts of this song and "Duncan,"... and probably, "April, Come She Will."

That was wonderful.

Excellent on all levels, Glenn! Good singing, good picking, good camera work, good editing - just excellent!

And your '67 D-35 sounds very good, as well. I have a '67 D-35S and if I recall, Paul had one for a while - may still for all I know.

Thanks for singing one of my favorite songs.

David

Hi Kerbie!

I am so glad to hear from you and so glad you felt this came out well!

You know, I thought about adding a sampled snare drum and putting a big reverb on it, but -- I decided to leave it as it was. Now if you were here, a real drummer, that would have been a natural! I would have had to add you to the video, too!

And thanks for the compliments on that old D-35. It does sound good!

Thanks so much for taking the time to listen and comment!

Hi David!

Thank you for your comments! And how wonderful that you have a '67 D-35S! I bet that guitar sounds fantastic! Having listened to Michael Watts recording now up in Show & Tell here on the forum, I have been reminded of what a great sound that guitar has! Good for you!

And I am so pleased that you liked so many things about my "Boxer" video. I did spend a fair amount of time on it, so it's wonderful that you noticed the effort!

Thank you Marty!

It's great to know you are listening over on the other side of Puget Sound! Thanks so much for your comments! I'm so glad you like this!

Yes, I also think the D-35 sounds great. I am using light gauge PB John Pearse strings, which take out some of the trebles on this guitar that are really too bright with something like D'Addario EJ16. I use EJ16 strings on more of my guitars than anything else, but they are too bright for this old D-35.

Thanks again for your comments Marty!

Glenn, I love that you’re doing multiple tracks - this song really benefits from the vocal harmonies. This song has always appealed to me - its so powerful and emotionally raw.

Wonderful job with this one, Glenn - among my very favorites of yours!

Thank you Larry!

How nice of you to check this video out and provide your comments! I'm also glad to know that you like the additional harmony added. Thanks so much for the kind words on this!
