Get a Yeti case. $32,000 but worth every penny.

Made from cheap planks sold in Home depot, cut to size and nailed together.

Goal would be to line up my guitars inside and also allow them to be stored in relative isolation from the environment so one can try and control the humidity without having to put the guitars in a case.

Anyone tried this? How did it work? Any words of wisdom?
Hi hakkolu

Someone on FaceBook posted this…but didn't include brand.

He thinks it was custom built.

Hi hakkolu

This is Spring of 2021 and there are ZERO cheap planks of wood at Home Depot or any other lumber supplier in the USA.

This is no joke, wood has become incredibly expensive. I paid over $5 a bd. ft. for poplar for some unseen parts of a cabinet late last year (the walnut was $14). You're talking about a 6 sided box big enough for 6 guitars. That's a lot of wood. You need a box of screws, flue, finish, hardware, lining material, humidifier, etc. I'm not trying to talk you out of the project, just don't think you're going to get away cheap.

Don’t bother building anything - just bite the bullet and get a serious unit - it’ll fit most collections -
