Default New album

I come here frequently to listen but don't have much time to participate - I spend a good part of the day taking care of my wife Mia who is quadriplegic. But I do want to share a new album we recently finished after several years of plinking away at it. Since, obviously, we do not play out we're putting it out there for free. Our focus is singing but I have spent many years honing my guitar chops so I can create interesting accompaniments.

The album is a mix of originals and covers - the songs work nicely as a musical diary of our 45 years together. Hope you find something to enjoy.

BTW, if you would like a CD don't select the Compact Disc option, rather contact us from the bandcamp page with your mailing address.

"Rough Magic" by Michael Derning & Mia Arends

Michael, good to hear your music. Very professionally performed and recording. Best wishes.

Thanks Derek- it's been a long time since the other forum. I've still got a couple of your CDs in the rotation. Hope you are well. Michael

Thanks Marty - I'm having a senior moment, what was the name of the forum where we all 'met'? And I'm pretty sure you live in Seattle?

APM! Now that's a throwback to the past and nascent days of the internet and music sharing.
Hey Michael,
Thanks for the heads up on your new production. You and Mia are pros, no doubt about that. A most excellent compilation of originals and covers, all so tastefully rendered.
It's amazing the amount of talent out there, producing this level of quality.
Great stuff!
