Default "Feel Good" Baritone Sounds

I have a beautiful baritone built by Matt Mustapick. Matt borrowed it back last night to show to a potential customer today and gave it back this afternoon, action adjusted to "just right". I've been playing it all evening. I have a whole new appreciation for what I have. Though I play it every day, tonight it seems to be really cool sounding and playing, even beyond what I'm used to. And that's something.

I didn't record anything tonight, but I did play this tune several times. I recorded this some time back on Matt's baritone, and it's a little representation of what it brings to me. A Todd Hallawell tune that a lot of my guitar playing buddies play as well, and much better than me. Such a "feel good" tune to me. Todd's "Leola Kay", named for his wife. Both nice people.

Isn't guitar playing a fun thing to do?

David,

I loved that tune (never heard it before) and your especially your rendition. Thanks for sharing that link.

Man, I really liked that!

Great sounding bari! I have a Tacoma and the more I play it, the more I love. I am to the point now where I play it as much as my Lowden. Baris are great instruments...

Good job David. The sound is being shredded by the 128 bit rate however. Try converting wav files to 320 mp3s.

Thanks everyone. It's a great tune. In Drop D, it sounds great on the baritone. Has become one of my "testing out guitars" tunes in guitar stores. Todd played it, and a few others, to win the Winfield Fingerstyle competition in 1997.

Rick, I'll try converting to 320 bit rate. Thanks.
