Thank you for the heads-up, Jseth. Sorry for being a little pissy. I missed 10 minutes of so of the broadcast trying to find it. I wasn't coming up on youtube searches although I finally found it through google.
Very cool. Saw Lovett and Hiatt together some years back at the Mount Baker Theater in Bellingham. Wonderful listening to them swap stories and songs. What talented songwriters and performers. |

I loved seeing it. Huge Hiatt fan and Lovett is a treasure. I had tix to see them in Greensboro NC...would have been last Friday so this was a consolation prize. Enjoyed it mucho.

Yes, it was very cool... 2 of my favorite modern-day songwriters, each in their own way.
It was in the mid-70's that I heard a Jon Hiatt song, played by a far-too-good-to-be-local band in the Southern California beach area... the nucleus of the Local Talent Band (!) were players from the newly-defunct HONK group... Beth Fitchet sang a song called "One More Time"... and I was hooked on John Hiatt thereafter!!! Surprised that they stopped so soon... but it was wonderful to see/hear them...
