Thank you, Jayne. These are likely my last two customs, or at least that is what I am telling myself!

And Walnut/redwood would be a mighty tasty combination! Will this Taran be done in time for BIG(er)?
Yes, that is the plan for both actually. Not sure the exact date Ben plans to start mine, but pretty soon because he wants it at B.I.G. for people to play.

Just chatted with Rory on Friday and he is starting Jan. 12th on mine and will be delivering it at B.I.G. which will be really cool! Kind of like Dennis getting his Kostal last year at the show! That was so much fun.

Sounds like an exciting bunch of builds. I'm going to have to live through them vicariously until 2021. I'm hoping I can keep the jealousy at bay.

TB, I'm just gonna live vicariously through your new new arrivals. That should keep me busy all year.

I am getting a TA redwood/Wenge MiniMac(sj) from Tim Mcknight, really looking forward to seeing it! Though we didn't get a chance to discuss the details...

A Joji Yoshida OO 12-fret with bear claw spruce top and BRW body.

And “this” close to adding another Wilborn, pending sale of a couple of others.

Ahhh, yes, well you sir will have one of those in your hands very soon now and can make an informed and "auditorial" decision, in fact I believe there will be three there with 2 different sizes! Yes, I plan on providing all sorts of temptations lol!

I have played a number of Jordan's guitars and each one has been a real treat to play. That wood combo sounds wonderful.

Best,
Jayne

I am thinking that I am too old to get on a long wait list. I am talking to Ben after seeing his Nautilus video though. I have a couple of guitars on consignment now to pay for some future purchase (I also promised my wife that I would do that after my purchase last March. But, I also think that it would be fun to walk around BIG on that Saturday with cash to purchase something off the rack so to speak.

I think this sounds like the best plan yet. From the sneak previews I have seen from Steve Kinnaird, Tom Sands, Lamehorse, and what Bruce Sexauer currently has going in his build thread, there should be some pretty nice eye candy to choose from. As the weekend goes on, if you can play russian roulette, the deals get better and better.

Tom

I asked Michael Millard to build me a guitar before he leaves. He has virtually no time slots available, but luckily, I’m scheduled for a grand concert model sometime this spring. I have a concert model and a full size model, so this will complete my Froggy Bottom line up. Michael is an outstanding person and I’m happy I’ve gotten to know him.
