Default Hey Larry Pattis!

Please tell me why you picked a Joel Michaud guitar.

After I played yours I got a hankering. Joel told me he is about three years out with about 57 guitars ordered.

I fee exceptionally fortunate to be on that list.

And good for Joel, couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!

Larry has already answered that in his own build thread - scroll down.

Just saw this...yes, I think the build-thread may answer it, but let me make clear that this was a "trust" build (in Simon Fay's recommendation, and in Joel himself of course), and one that turned out well from my end of things.

*Spectacularly* well.

I could not be more pleased, and my only regrets are not making it to the Santa Barbara show to meet Joel, and to try out his OM and 0 sized guitars.

This here lil' 00-R Michaud is somewhat beyond description in regards to how it feels in my lap and in how it's vibrations resonate with my being. It's a musical little creature.

EDIT: Matt, you could always call me and we could chat. I'd like that.

Thanks Larry.

Maybe I can take the train to Eugene and we can discuss it over breakfast, lunch, and dinner?

...we have a guest bedroom, and some guitars here for you to play.
