Default Guitar builders...advice please

first question, can my taylor 214 be beveled or does have to be during the building process???

Second...How do you even do a beveled edge???? From the inside???Thanks for your help, your friend, Solo

1st -sure, anything can be done. depends upon how much effort and money you want to spend. (it should be done from the start though as top bracing and voicing can be affected) not sure about the 214 though but is there a perimeter channel routed around the top on these?

2nd -usually but not always, a curved block of wood is positioned in the area of the desired bevel and glued in. then the area is trimmed/beveled away from the outside once the box is closed up. this includes the portion of the top and side as well as the bevel insert all at once for a nice, clean, smooth armrest.
