For Sale: SOLD!! Gretsch G-5230T Centerblock

Hello! Up for grabs is my like new Gretsch G-5230T in beautiful Airline Silver. This model is paired with 2 Blacktop Filtertrons, and a walnut board. I bought it brand new from Sweetwater this year (hence the Sweetwater pics).

I’ve set it up with .11’s and it plays wonderfully. It’s also been treated to a complete re-wire with 500k CTS pots, Orange drop Cap, Switchcraft switch, switch tip, and jack, and vintage pushback wire was used. All items (besides the wire) were purchased from TV Jones.

I’ve also added a bone nut, a Reverend roller bridge, and locking tuners. In addition, it’s been treated to a “Biggsfix” (repositions the Bigsby roller for less string break angle. Improved tuning stability), and a “Squishy Spring” (MUCH more pleasant/ease of use when using the Bigsby).

I’ve used it live with absolutely no issues, and with rock solid tuning stability. I love this Jet, but I want to add another 5620T-CB to my others and have a strict one in, one out policy.

I’m very particular about anything I own. If there are any marks, etc. I can’t find them, other then some pick guard scuffing and some very minor belt buckle scuffs. I’ve bought, sold, and traded on here for years. My gear is always as described. No case, but I can include a decent Gibson gig-bag to ship it in.

The upgrades (not including the bags cost) add up to over $200.00. Putting this over the $750 mark. Priced at a very fair $. Additional Insurance available at your expense. If you’ve not ventured into the Gretsch electric world...they’re well worth the trip. Absolutely awesome guitars. This is ready to go and in fantastic condition.
