Default Learning to record

Using a Line 6 SonicPort, Sonoma Wire Works Rifftracker, and Mixcraft.

Just trying to figure out what I'm doing recording-wise, and trying to get my songwriting mojo back after a long dry spell.

So I present to you my fake string band, Rusty Patina and the Antique Pickers.

Thanks!

I got a mandolin for Christmas and this is the first time I've ever spent any quality time with one, so I'm a total noob at it. I've learned that the rhythmic chop with some well-placed tremolo picking can make it sound like you know what you're doing even if you don't solo.

This might just be my theme song. A couple of missed notes left in just to prove the point.

Willie, I think your stuff is a riot! I have tears in my eyes from laughing so hard.
You do really good work. Thanks for this.
