For Sale: 2013 Martin D18 Authentic 1939 - SOLD!

This one pains me a bit, but I'm very heavy in hog dreads right now, and this guitar is so sonically similar to my D18 David Crosby (and that is a very good thing) that one of them should go.

If you're looking for a collector grade instrument, this probably isn't the guitar for you. It has been played, and has what I consider to be minor imperfections to show for it. There are a few tiny dings on the top that are near impossible to photograph, along with some missing finish on the pickguard from years of being played and loved (see photos). This guitar plays and sounds like a good Authentic should, and maybe even better from all the play that is has had, along with ten years of aging. Here's some photos, and there's more here.






The guitar has just returned from my luthier for a setup, and the neck angle is good. There is still a good amount of room to lower the saddle in the future if needed.

Price is $SOLD net to me, which I think is a fair price. I'll entertain offers, but no lowballs, please. I have Heritage insurance, so don't need to insure for more than $300, but shipping from here on the east coast would still likely be $125 or so to the west coast, less to other places. Guitar is located on Long Island. Shipping will be via FedEx Ground, unless you insist on some other means.
