It’s a great guitar Alan. It is a bit larger in the lower bout than an OM (similar to an Olson SJ, but not as deep) but is comfortable to play and retains the fast attack, punch and projection of an OM that tend to be lost is many guitars when their bodies get deeper. Many player’s enjoy the effect of body depth on sound, but I personally do not.

That's beautiful. I talked with Nick the other day and not only a world class luthier but a really nice, humble guy too. I'd love to hear a recording sample if you get around to it.

My Franklin is a GREAT guitar... Here’s a poor iPhone recording of my friend Jimmy Bruno auditioning it this morning at The Artisan Guitar Show with guitarist Ray Matuza off camera playing a 17” archtop by luthier Bill Comins. Some superlative playing makes up for the lack of fidelity...
