Any Carbon Guitars Designed to Sound Like Certain Tonewoods?
Since carbon guitars lend themselves to being engineered with respect to vibration, structure, etc. to achieve certain sounds, are any of them specifically designed to sound like certain tonewoods? In the world of wood guitars there's no shortage of discussion on the sounds of spruce, cedar, mahogany, etc. For example, are there carbon guitars that are specifically designed to "sound like koa" or some other wood?

FYI, as of this writing, no builder of carbon guitars has a guitar that sounds like wood, in fact, only one is even interested in the idea, Blackbird, and Joe is not using carbon fiber for the project. |
