Default (not so) Fast Fox Trot (Buck Rag)

Hi guys,

here's my latest recording. Again not perfect but lord knows if I waited for it to be perfect I'd never post anything.

Rev. Gary Davis' Fast Fox Trot (Buck Rag) on a Martin 000-28VS. From an arrangement by Ernie Hawkins.

I hope you like it.

That was good Doug, good job. Your timing has vastly improved. These types of tunes are tough because there's that triplet feel and ahead of the beat feel to deal with.

Thank you Barry! Timing is always an ongoing concern for me, especially when recording.

Doug, you always nail these rags. They are timeless, and fantastic. Seventy five years ago. Seventy five years from now. An art form to master... nice job man.

U ever do Joplin The Sting?

Thank you Sal! I do play the most familiar theme "The Entertainer" from the movie The Sting. I don't have a recording of it up now. I'm planning on re-recording it in the near future.
