Default acoustic guitar condensor performance mic

I am looking for a condensor mic for live solo performance. Its for my acoustic guitar only, not vocals. Don't want to spend over $200. Any good Black Friday deals you know of??

Happy Thanksgiving to all

I don't know anything about Black Friday, or any other days of various colours bu I have used an old Rode NT1 for ages with positive results and comments all the time.

AKG P220 is another good bet at that price.

The AKG C3000 is a very good live performance condenser for reasonable money and I see them go for reasonable used prices like this....

Thumbs up Samson C01 48 VDC Phantom Powered LDC

These are not bad mics , great spec's and really quiet too . They handle high pressure sound sources well like kick drums et cetera .

Used mic's start @ around $49.00 at Reverb for example . A new one w/shock mount will run you around $112.00 :

I've had mine a few years and it's still sounding great . Gold sputtered LDC element like thew more expensive mics too .

Bright Blue LED turns on when it senses 48VDC phantom power . Great job on vocal , acoustic instruments - silky smooooooove it is .

It's a real sleeper of a bargain IMHO .

EZ :

I have used earlier models of the AKG CS 1000 and it is an outstanding and versatile mic. One plus is that it can operate on battery power if for some reason phantom power is not available in a live situation. Very clear, clean sound.

If you can stretch you budget by maybe fifty bucks I would very highly recommend finding a minty used AKG 214. This has been my go-to live mic for many years for venues large and small and it rarely lets me down. I have tried many, if not most mics for live performance, and there’s just something uniquely feedback rejecting about it, even compared to AKG’s 314 and 414...

Try Shure PGA81, Rode NT5 or Oktava MK012. The Oktava is available with hypercardoid instead od the usual cardoid. That can give you more gain before feedback.
