Default New season of Patriot on Amazon.

I've been trying to get people to check this out in other threads and have not gotten one comment so far in two different threads, so I now made a thread on it.

Patriot on Amazon is one of the most amazing shows that virtually NO ONE talks about. It is not good... it's outstanding and up there with my favorite of all times. It's brilliantly done with a lot of dark humor. And the main character, an undercover agent, also writes folk music on acoustic guitar.

Anyhow, the second season is released now too. Seriously, check it out.

OK rob, I’ll take your word for it and give it a shot.

Having recently finished up "Killing Eve" which was very good, my wife and I have been looking for our next binge series.

Based on this post we tried out Episode 1 last night. We loved it! Four thumbs up. Thanks!

You're welcome. It's consistently good, so you'll enjoy the all of the episodes if you loved the first.

His songs (revealing what is going on in his life including the covert ops) are so good. Plus unlike many movies/TV shows, it actually looks like he is really playing the guitar, even in the duet scene with Terry O Quinn it looked pretty real to me for both of them.

Episode 2 and onward tonight!

The songs get even better later on...

Oddly enough, was just getting my weekly fix of Vikings and there was a trailer for Patriot and I though to myself it looked pretty quirky, so will have to give it a go. Hope it gets a good run though. These days I get wary of watching new shows as your US networks always seem to can the best ones - 'Braindead' only got one season (too close to home, perhaps??) and 'Colony' only managed two.

Just today watched episode one and liked it.
I had passed over this before because spy movies are usually not my genre.

Sad to say, I finished watching Patriot Season 2 tonight. Sad? Well, who knows when Season 3 will arrive? Quirky, unpredictable, a great ensemble cast and lots of dry humour: I'm so glad I spotted the thread on the forum and read it, else I would have missed a great show. And full marks too for a show without huge "Buy American Big Brands" product placement - his guitar of choice is an Aussie Cole Clark. I'd be intrigued to know how they got that past the studio execs.

Glad you like it. I think it's great.

More people need to see this thread.
