Default Stephen Kinnaird SJ Port Orford Cedar/'Tree" Mahogany

Aloha All, my first custom build thread. I thought I'd post some pics for this guitar in progress in Nacogdoches, by Stephen Kinnaird. I am very excited about it, of course!
I've done a few custom builds before, usually on my search for the best sounding, loudest, and most beautiful instrument I can find. I discovered Stephen's guitars here on AGF discussion about loud guitars, and after trying one I was inspired to order a custom.
With Stephen's patient, friendly and expert guidance, we are looking at an SJ with Port Orford Cedar and Mahogany. It will be a 13 fret, full scale neck with a cutaway and a Manzer wedge ( Thank you Linda!). Also a bevel and some custom inlay, to be shown later.
Fretboard, headstock cover and bridge will be Brazilian Rosewood, also used in the rosette.
Stephen was willing to use some 'The Tree' Mahogany I had impulsively bought a year ago, without specific plans for it. This seemed like the place to use it.
Some pics for now, and more comments later if there's interest.

There is a brave man bending those sides. Should be a beautiful instrument.

Kevin, I’m shocked he didn’t ask you to do the bending, now that you’re a pro!

Seriously, that is some beautiful wood!

Uh huh…you see how grey he has turned! I went out to the shop that morning with raven locks, and look at me now! Working with Unaffordium is nerve-wracking.

Thanks, Cigarfan, it was your Kinnaird OMDB that started me on this journey! Along with Tom’s recommendation!

Cool bridge. Of course I am bias towards the Kinnaird shape. Wood for the bridge and fretboard are awesome.

I agree with all my friends here, probably why we are friends lol! That fretboard is really great and my oh my, slap my face, what a beautiful bridge!!!

Russell, I think you need to have Steve deliver this guitar to you in Sept. at B.I.G. so we can all see it and hear it in person, we won't touch it and I can lock it up in a sealed vault for you when you leave the room to keep the drool off of it! What do you think, ROAD TRIP!!!! (well after you cross the Pacific).
