Beautiful Mau! I see there is a person on FB cutting up a table made of 'the Tree' to sell as guitar sets. That quilt looks really tubular. It might even be an AGF'er...I don't know.

Very cool story behind this tree/wood. I wonder in total how much board feet came out of this tree.

Great guitar photography by the way

Have a great day.

Kevin.

Mau, with your excellent taste in guitars, and your masterful playing of them, you give us all a great gift by sharing. And your photography is equally inspiring.
Have you ever thought of producing a book of your photography? I'm talking about a book with the same level of top-notch production values you bring to your recording projects. A large format "coffee table" ART book... I'll bet you'd have a large, appreciative audience for something like that.

Thanks for stopping by, Steve.

I do want to create some kind of visual complement to my music -- but at this point I'm not sure what format to use to best communicate it. Ideally I'd like to team up with a visual artist who could do a much better job than me. As much as I am a huge appreciator of visual arts, I also know my own limits...

That's because I couldn't afford the inlays on the back...

Yes, I do buy guitars primarily based on looks...

Love the new headstock(s) shot, Mau. Maybe you could convince Jim to use it on his home page (good luck )

Thanks for looking, guys.

Jim takes beautiful photos of his own, no need to use mine.

Besides, I wouldn't want some other guy's photos on my site either, for two reasons -- consistency and artistic integrity.

Just struck me as a good cover photo. That's all I was saying
