I bought a used Carvin AC-375 but dont know what this extra pickup added above the bridge is. Can you identify it? What kind of connection is that?

It looks like a MIDI pickup. I would like to know myself!

Like Aero said/guessed: It's a midi pickup and that odd jack is what connects it.

Just google 'midi guitar pickup jack' and look at the pictures.
