If the sound is 1% as good as it looks, it'll sound amazing. That is an absolutely beautiful guitar. I'll eventually get a koa, so I'm always interested in checking them out... and this is probably one of the most beautiful koa flames I've seen. Not to mention the bevel, and the rosette (which is a perfect combination). Can't wait to see the finished product!

(and it is crazy to go back to Page 1 and see the raw wood... wow)

Holy cow that's pretty!
I love Koa, and that's some of the nicest I've seen.
Prediction: you're going to be delirious when it's finished.

Ditto on the seamless nature of the bevel. This guitar is looking exquisite. Between buddiesorg's lefty and this kick-patootie Koa, I've got serious high-end 12-string Ryan GAS!

My lefty? I don't have any lefties. I'm left-handed, but I play guitar right-handed.

Congrats!
I love the color scheme. Reminds me of one I did in all Koa with Madagascar bindings. Great look for sure....Congrats!

Haven't checked in on this in a while ... WOW!!! I'm also a huge fan on the Cocobobo bindings on the Koa - this is a stunning instrument. I'm excited to hear about it - any recordings planned?

Sorry, I think I had you confused with Kevin A...

So, is there a "Kevin" prerequisite to having a Ryan?!
