Default 2 covers on youtube for your enjoyment

Yesterday evening I had a bit of spare time so I turned on the video camera and mic and recorded a couple of songs that I really enjoy playing. I hope you like them too!

"I've Just Seen A Face" by the Beatles

"Union & Third" by Andy Davis

Those are really great - good guitar and great singing. Really love the Beatles cover!

Andrew, very nice! I especially like the vocal inflection and feeling you put into the Beatles cover. Your vocals in the Andy Davis cover were excellent...I think you demonstrated very good tone and control in that one! Good guitaring in both, the your vocals really stand out! Definitely a three thumb performance!!

Great, I almost forgot that this song was from the fab 4. Your version is great, very good percussive playing. Thanks man!

Nicely done on both! Great vocals and lots of soul. There are a ton of songs you can do well I would imagine .
A nice sounding recording too BTW.

Thank you very, very much!

I am so glad that you guys decided to check out the videos. The beatles song is perhaps my favorite of theirs, maybe just because it seems to transcend the beatles era for me. Glad you liked my version!

Andy Davis is one of my favorite singer/songwriters out of Nashville. He is a gifted piano player as well..I'd heartily recommend his music.

Thanks again for the kind words!!

Yep--since I bought those headphones, I am afraid that they haven't been taken off!

Okay, I'm going to go out on a limb and possibly offend some people (although that's not my intent).

I do booking and am always looking for people who can actually sing and play guitar and I'm not exaggerating at all when I say that 99% of the people I hear have zero feel in their vocals. There are a lot of people who can play, but they can't sing. There are a lot fewer people who can "sort of" play, but can sing. There are very few people who can do both.

I'd book you in a New York minute. You can sing and play, bro.

LOL, there are lots of people who can do neither who get plenty of gigs. They just don't get the gigs from me

Thanks so much for posting these. I agree with all the compliments others have already offered. I really enjoyed your songs.

And, I've just seen a face as well-- yours! Thanks for including yourself in the videos, not just your guitar and hands, etc. I think I understand why others film such limited views, but I really appreciate seeing who is playing, especially when the result is so pleasing. Plus, now I have a face to go with your user name.

Cheers,
Sarah S.

Andrew I really enjoyed your playing and singing on both songs. Very cool groove on the Beatles tune and wonderfully expressive vocals on both. Looking forward to hearing more!
