Default Slat thickness for side bending machine

What is the typical thickness of the slats used for the Fox/LMI bending machine?

10 gauge (.015”) stainless, preferably spring steel. Unlike the photo, if possible don’t buy the bluish coloured steel - the color comes off on your wood, though you can wrap your sides in aluminum foil or paper if you have to. 6” wide by 36” long. The thickness isn’t critical.

Metals Supermarket might sell it, or similar consumer-oriented supplier.

I made my slats out of .020 aircraft aluminum otherwise destined to be wing skins, either 6061 or 1024 alloy. Both are decently springy and I don't remember which. They work fine. A surplus metal yard might be less costly than retail metal vendors.
