Folk position or Classical position?

So wherein would you say that the biggest ergonomic difference lies, left hand, right arm position or less torsion in back and shoulders due to have the guitar in a more central position?

I'm just two weeks into the conversion to the left leg position. I feel that my posture is much better. I also feel that I have better control of the guitar. And my left hand is better angled toward the neck.

I did have a couple of issues; bare F chord took a little time to adapt and a bass run down the A string and up the E, in first position, is still taking a little work but it's getting there.

I play with a strap and with the peghead almost even with my chin and the guitar stays in almost the same position when I stand.

With a lower body that wide, do you still need a foot stool when playing a jumbo in classical position... or do you in fact need an extra-high one?
