Default CONGRATS LKRISTIANS: 20 years on the AGF!

Let's congratulate Lkristians who joined the AGF 20 years ago today! He was way ahead of most of us. The forum celebrated its twentieth birthday last August and only 179 avid guitarists joined before Larry did. So, he must have known a good thing when he saw it. I wonder if any of the first 179, other than our owner JR, are still hanging out...

Larry also joined the mod staff a year ago this month. He has done a great job and kept us entertained ever since! My thanks to Larry for his contributions.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, LARRY!!!

Hearty congrats. That is a milestone.
And I'll take the opportunity to thank you for joining the AGF moderator team. Everyone here does an excellent job, and I know it must often be a very demanding, and thankless, task.

That is a long time to do anything Larry, even if you like it! Congrats and you have also been a very welcome addition to the moderating staff!

Congratulations Larry! Of course, moderating is the 'torrefaction' process of the AGF - it artificially ages you!

best,

Rick

Interesting - this got me thinking about my member number.....I just hovered over my user ID and it said 121,000 something!! I used to be in the 2300 range. Wonder what happened?

Todd, you and I both joined Nov. 2002 and you’re right, our userIDs were around what you stated. I just looked at mine and like you, it is in fact over 121,000, yet Larry’s remains at 180. Not that it really matters, but I wonder what’s up with that. Likely, only Jeremy will know.

Edit: Weird...I just checked again and I’m back to #2,806 while yours still appears to be 121k+.

Well this IS interesting - and like you said, not that it matters.

I just hovered over your user ID and it says 2806.

So, maybe it's just when we look at our own??
