As a guy with a guitar on a FedEx truck right now, this makes me nervous. Thankfully it’s from Sweetwater, which is only about 2.5 hours away. Less points for it to get messed with along the way. Hopefully.

Fedex loses airplanes. A guitar is a flyspeck.

That's what I was hinting at with my 'Castaway' reference.

You have to chill out a bit. It is not uncommon for a box to go missing in their tracking system. It has happened to me a me a couple of times. It will show up. All carriers are imperfect. It would not surprise me in the least if it shows up again in a couple of days.

Also not a good thought that it’s sitting somewhere in summer heat and humidity.

I've been shipping guitars lately with some sales/trades on here and they're moving slower than usual. Shipments via FedEx, UPS, etc. have all shown some slight delays.

I say be patient with the situation and the people you're talking to at FedEx. Hopefully, it'll pop up soon.

I have learned to print a second label and store it inside the box. Hopefully in that situation the shipper would open to attempt to find the intended destination.

Happened to me a number of years ago, a mint CEO-7, lost by FedEx. ...They paid the insurance on it with little trouble on my part....

So should I "chill out" or not? Still no word this morning.

Perhaps being happily used daily by a AGF regular?

Jus' sayin' . . .

Not sure it's cool to make light of someone who lost a guitar.

Jus' sayin.

That's why I always write the address in Sharpie marker directly on the box elsewhere on the carton...just in case!

Fed employs guitar players just as Guitar Center does. GC in my area lost a $5000 Taylor off the wall. Really? At least it was a Taylor and not something I was interested in.
